ECTN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO


The ECTN system is used in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to control the export of goods from the country. The ECTN is a document that is required for all exports from the ectn the democratic republic of congo DRC and must be obtained from the Chambers of Commerce in the country of origin.
The ECTN must be presented to the customs authorities in the DRC at the time of export, and the exporting company must have a valid ECTN for the goods being exported. The ECTN system was introduced in the DRC in 2008 and is administered by the Ministry of Industry and Mines. The ECTN is valid for one year from the date of issuance and must be renewed annually.
